I apologized to Steff, and IIRC her dh too (maybe?), I should have if I didn't, not that it matters much or undoes it. That was very vile and uncool and just plain stupid. I never even disliked Steff... it was just stupidity. I apologize again Steff, I'm so very sorry, you didn't deserve that.
I've always been sarcastic, snarky, whatever, even crossing the line at times for the sake of "entertainment" (ie: the email thing) but all-out hateful was never my thing. I don't really care that people hate me, it's just that that's not who I want to be, it's not who I am. I got carried away and I regret it all. I take that back, I do care if people hate me, it hurts, especially when I know I deserve it.
I regret what I did to JK, to Steff, to the Hoffs and even to the Ranters. My first instinct is to try to justify my actions and I was able to do so in my mind at first, but no, it was all wrong plain and simple. No justification for any of it other than my own complete and utter stupidity.

As far as Zen's apology goes, what else can she do? It was frustrating because I was genuinely sorry but I just couldn't appease those that wanted to rip me a new one. What I did didn't compare to what Zen has done, true, but what else can she say but "sorry" and not do it again? Which, to my knowledge, she hasn't done since the Big Board Blowup.

Yes, I really am sorry. I know a blanket apology isn't enough, I don't know of any other way to rectify the situation though. I thought a public apology and publicly admitting that I was wrong would be the higher form of sincerity. Apologies "behind closed doors" don't mean much to me... I mean they do, but when the issue is a public one... IDK I just thought it would be the best way. I have personally emailed a few people, some people aren't clicky, some seem to have so much hatred towards me that I thought it would be pointless to make myself vulnerable to them when they will never listen. I don't even want forgiveness, I appreciate it, I just want everyone to know that I am sorry and I know I did horrible things for very selfish reasons, and in my own conscious I've paid for it.

I just have to jump in to echo everyone who has said they'll miss this board dearly. I've been on here since 1999 and have never had any other screennames but this one, and while I post regularly I have no idea if anyone even knows who I am. I don't *think* I ever made any enemies. In any case it's been great entertainment, and I even got some bargains out of the deal! I never got too involved in any of the drama, but of course I loved reading it , and I could usually be tempted into posting some eye candy when called for (like during the interminable wait for an update on the iSlice thread). And the Ramon spinoff thread "What do you think Ramon looks like?" was one of the funniest things I have ever read on the internet. Someone finally posted a photo inappropriate for BBC (I think her name was LaShell?), and got it deleted. And thus ended another of the BHB all-time greats. And there was magic cream and vanblue's crabs erradication method and so many others I can't even remember right now. I never was involved in the Hoffs vs. ranters stuff and don't know what board it is where that all went down, but the Hoff picture threads were a riot. I still laugh when I think of the animated one where it zooms in on his speedo and there's a picture of him in his speedo and on and on. And psst...I have the unintended schlong photo... The faces are scratched out. I didn't post it here nor did I do the scratching, I just happened to save it when it was posted. For posterity, you know. You just never know when it'll come in handy to have stashed away some of the dramaz from here. Good stuff. I suppose I'll see what's going on over on Yuku, I signed up there but haven't visited much. It is sort of weird and sad to think that this is ending. I always looked forward to logging in and seeing what the latest out of control thread was about. Cheers to you all, and thanks for the great reading!Janelle

I don't remember her screenname exactly but her kids were Aidan and Alison. She was around during the period of pasmommy & chersolly. Maybe her screenname was something like mommy2aidan&alison (?). I just remember knowing her kids names from her screenname. She could sure defend that gymboree!
I've been here since 2003 and I think all that mess with her went down in 2004 b/c I was out a lot with my new baby and missed the drama! Isn't that always how it goes. I missed the recent ranters/hoff's stuff, too, because of baby #3!

Alright, I confess that I think it's STUPID when people name their twins Caiden and Kaiden and then yell at you when you pronounce them as the same name when CLEARLY (not) Caiden is supposed to be, to them, pronounced "Saiden". God, that's bugged me for YEARS.

Wow. How interesting this thread has been! I think it's cool that Zen apologized...she has no real motivation in people pleasing or recovering any reputation she may have had. Nope didn't feel stupid, actually is was a very traumatic time in my life. I was pregnant. We finally got our wish of a little girl. She was stillborn.
So after coming back to people posting picture of an alien coming out of a stomach and other hurtful things, nope couldn't post.
