Am I banned? Someone let me know if you see this, I haven't tried to post. I never got a notice, so maybe a suspension? Generally BBC tends to stay out of off-board stuff and since I didn't actually post that dreadful night I doubt I would have gotten banned. Ya never know though.

Do you live in the West End or Southside? How old are your DC? I have a DS who is 4 and a DS who is 2. I was in the West End until DH unfortunately moved us to the Southside. It's okay here but everything I do is on the other side of the river. I hope that when we buy a house in the next year or 2 that we can move back to the West End.

BTW, you sound just like me. We, too, just moved, oh, almost 2 summers ago, to the southside from the West End, and I, still, to this day, miss the West End. In fact, all of the kids doctors, dentists, etc., etc., are all located in the West End, so I am actually there still all the time. I just prefer it-- better parks, better atmosphere, better shopping, and the list goes on and on.
Damn** the West End for being totally out of our price range when it was time to buy our 1st house. A townhouse would have been affordable, but a house? HA! You know the drill, but hey, one has to start on the property ladder sometime, right?

The only MNO's I partake in are the ones when I go out with Bethany. Although I did get invited to a fun night of Bunko but I had to pass because DH didn't get home in time for me to partake in the festivities. We did got to a wedding this past weekend that had an openbar for the 5 hour long reception and that was fabulous! It wasn't so much fun driving from downtown back to here though.

Nice, finally somebody who can relate to missing the West End! happy DH grew up here in the Southside and couldn't turn his dad down when he offered to let us rent out his house for super cheap because it was on the market for 6 months and didn't sell. Needless to say we are still paying rent for our place in the West End until May and then we will start paying rent to the ILs when that happens.
I will have to email you off board because I am in serious need of a dentist for us and/or a pediatric dentist too. I really like going by word of mouth when it comes to these types of things.
We moved here from Blacksburg 3 years ago.

Anyway, yeah, bil stayed behind with his gf, now wife, and to finish school (yah bil, he's on the Deans List at VCU). They live in Sandston, in a small townhouse so no visiting them. sad When/if the ILs come back they'll be back in Midlo though, so I'll be close to you when we visit.
I almost wish we had never left, but there was no way George would get a job like this in Richmond. Now that he has the Network Admin experience he'll be good to go wherever, but since they worship the ground he walks on at this company
