I (nor anyone else who is helping with mama drama) have no intentions of stopping now.
I have said (and fully believe) that nothing is truly anonymous. ** From the beginning, I have not posted anything as The Drama Mama that I would not say if you were sitting in my living room, straight to your face. My intention was never (and is never) to use anonymity to stab at people, but to use it to erase bias. my only concern is that, now that they know it is you, you might have some backlash because in our terms of service it says some legalese about all our posts becoming the property of babycenter. if you are c/p'ing their property onto your site (and possibly bringing in ad money) you could have a team of lawyers arriving on your doorstep any day now. Corporations don't like to take it in the a$$.

What is really interesting is that she was able to c/p an extremely nasty thread that was deleted by babycenter so someone in their camp had c/p it on a Monday well before the blog came out. It was late at night and there weren't many people posting at that point. But someone managed to copy that thread and save it for her blog. Wow.

I know nothing of any drama…
But I will say that any comments posted on a public forum do not have any protection (not the original writer or from BBC.) There are many large companies that “harvest” comments on public bulletin boards to analyze and sell to other large companies. So I don’t think there is any issue there….

Like I said previously, I’m not going to discuss minutia here. J&J is well aware of the existance of my blog. If they have objections (and believe they have legal grounds) my people can talk to their people and work it out. If you are under the idea that maybe they aren’t aware of it and feel a burning need to email them (as I’m sure several of you already have….have at it).
As for the rest…..if you truly believe that someone is stalking you or harassing you over the internet, you should contact you local police department. They do take those things quite seriously. I can promise you that is NOT what is going on at Mama Drama UNCENSORED and we are reasonable sure that is not what is going on from our sources, else we wouldn’t post the material.

Okay ladies (and the few drama loving gentlemen who lurk around). It’s time to clarify what we’re all about here, and talk about what kind of drama we’re looking for.
We’ve gotten lots of emails about many things. Some of them make it up on the blog, some of them don’t. Let’s talk about why.
Here are Mama Drama UNCENSORED we aren’t out to persecute people that you have a personal vendetta against. We’re not about publishing the dirty little secrets of mommies who are just asking for honest advice. We will not post copy and paste from private boards. Not only can we not verify the accuracy of that copy and paste, but we believe that what happens on a private board STAYS on a private board. That’s why they are private. So what are we about? Okay, here’s a list of things that we’re looking for.
Ahhh, Trolls, trolls and more trolls. Everyone who makes up a fake persona and gets busted, comes to the board to ask stupid questions, or dispense advice that makes no sense. That’s good stuff there! That means if you get into an argument with a troll, you will most likely end up on our blog! You can’t reason with crazy, and if you try, it’s hilarious. We will post it, and we’ll laugh.
I’m Better Than You. All you crazy mamas who think you are right and everyone else is wrong. You know who you are, you makers of blanket statements! You geniuses at taking comments out of context! When you lecture someone on how you are the perfect mom, and they are not, every normal, imperfect person in the world is chuckling at you. That’s what why want to post here. So if you believe that formula kills babies, that breastfeeding is nasty, that boy toddlers in the women’s room is freaky, that teenage boys shouldn’t get to go to the bathroom alone, that children should ride rearfacing in a Britax until they are old enough to drive, that SAHMs are lazy, that WOHMs are irresponsible and selfish, blast your religious sentiments at others, blast others who have religious sentiments, think people on welfare should die or at least be sterilized, or any of the 1,001 other extreme views that are spouted with authority each and every day, you are causing some good drama and will end up on Mama Drama UNCENSORED.
Board wars made public will also be discussed. Most of us are sick of them, and just about everyone is sick of people asking about them over and over. So we’d like to clear up any questions and misconceptions about those groups as soon as possible, so we can all just stop talking about them already! For those of you looking to join on of the private boards mentioned, you are most likely wasting your time. They are private for a reason, the members are like minded and want a community where they can express whatever views they have come together on….and usually be more open and personal than the great big wide open community of BabyCenter. They are usually by invitation only. The Drama Mama thinks that board wars are the silliest thing ever, but since so many people are asking, if you belong to a private board and put stuff about how great or perfect your board is, or comments about how bad and nasty the other boards are up on BabyCenter, that will probably make it here as well. If you’re a member of a private board and would like to dispute something The Drama Mama posts about you, please email us.
Then we’ve got the ever happening discussions of religion, politics, race, class, and of course, abortion. You know when you bring those up, things will not go well. Mass drama will ensue. Embrace it or stay out of it, but don’t act surprised when it happens.
Comments. With the exception of spam and violations of personal privacy, comments on this board will not be moderated or deleted. That goes against everything we dislike about BabyCenter. Yes, there will be trolls. Yes, there will be anonymous idiots. Yes, there will be offensive comments. You don’t have to read them. But if you wade on in and get in over your head, heaven help you because the Drama Mama isn’t stepping in to put children in time out!
Lastly, the board jokes. The goofy stuff that happens on the bar thread, discussions of magic cream, the proper way to clean your vajayjay or rid yourself of crabs (caught in a public bathroom, of course). Alrighty. That’s all we’ve got! Questions, comments? Are we all on the same page now?

If you come to the board and tell us you caught your DH between the legs of another woman and he told you he was thinking of changing careers to gyno, but wanted to try it out in case he was ever offered a position in a nudust colony, and you beleive him, but now you have a funny bump on your vajayjay and want to know if you should go at a real gyno or let you DH check it out……that might get posted.

Hey i am just jealous and feel really dumb that I didn’t know people could get paid for their blog! Here I am blogging away on myspace and not getting crap, yet I could be making some money off of it?
After reading it here I searched and came up with a guys blog that it making $5000 a month from his blog! Are you kidding me?
Do you have to pay taxes on that money? Do you have your friends click on the ads so you get paid more? Or is that just something all fellow bloggers know to do.. click on each others ads so you get paid?

Okay, JMO here, but I would NOT put ads on your personal blog. Not only will you not make much money, but that’s not what your personal blog should really be about, ads would ruin it. (ETA Now if you get some fancy product endorsement, like Ashley’s ‘friend’ got with too timid, that’s a whole different ball game!)
Now if you have a topical blog (like, you post about bargains, or movies, or have a how-to craft blog), I can put you in touch with people who will help you out.
YES, you pay taxes on that money (I didn’t make any to speak of last year, so it wasn’t an issue for us). NO you do NOT ask your friends to click your ads. That’s a violation of your contract. You can not click your own ads. There one on my bargain blog for a site that I use ALL OF THE TIME, and I’m constantly reminding myself NOT to click the link on my blog because it would get me in big trouble. Maybe I’m a bad blogger pal, but the only time I would ever click on a link on someone’s blog was if it was something I legitimately wanted to follow. That includes the ads here on BBC.
I didn’t want to be all tacky and post $$ on here, but to alleve your minds….
The bargain blog averages 200 readers per day. I make anywhere from $10 to .22 a dy (typically .22 The $10 day was an exciting one for me). I don’t know how much to even expect from the other. The demographics are so different.
My guess would be that the guy who is making $5000 a day wants you to buy his book and learn how you can do it too??? Sorry, but I don’t even think Perez is pulling that much a day from his blog.
I do have an idea for another blog that I think you be AWESOME…but it requires basic photoshop skills (which I don’t have). I mentioned it to someone else, but if they decide not to do it…..I’ll bring it up here and do what I can to help someone here set it up.

J&J should be tickled pink and putting the Drama Mama (I still have to insist on thinking of you as 2 separate entities, sorry Rebecca) on their payroll. No publicity is bad publicity, especially juicy publicity that’s getting like 9000 page views a day or some crazy crap.
Non BBers are enjoying it too, I’ve had 2 emails from readers thanking me for linking it because it eventually led them to the BB and they love it here.
Bargains don’t appeal to the masses…Drama does. Almost everyone loves a good cat fight.
This way J&J keeps their site clean, while giving all of their readers/members/ad viewers/potential customers/ and the every day Betty what they want. It’s so brilliant, it’s scary. If they had any sense, they’d email rebecca, tell her to take her ads down, put their own up and put her on the payroll and make her swear to never admit that she is.
I hope they’re reading ;-) (and if they are…I’d make a great co-writer!)

My other biggie was the fact she used wordpress. If you notice mostly everyone uses blogspot only a very few people use wordpress. I will admit even though I said I knew who it was I had it narrowed down to two people not one.
I try not to go by the way people type because it’s easy to change that up. But I viewed sources also and whatnot. For the record the baby picture had nothing to do with it per say, but the information behind the picture.
I’ll admit in my youthful days I sent an ICQ bomb or two..

For the record, I love your blog and I can relate. My kids go to a Jewish faith based daycare. Have you been told that they don’t believe in dinosaurs so they shouldn’t learn about them? Because I have!
I should start my own blog.. with all of baby daddy drama I have and especially with his girlfriend (who wouldn’t want to read about her texting me asking for advice on him, saying that she thinks he and I would make a great couple, and tell me of all of her woes?) Yes, I prefer the full time attention thing, such as avatars or siggies, but this works too.

Yes, I have always been super jealous.
I however can not change my avatar. I am nothing if I am not a soccer mom, no really?
